DESCRIPTION:Participation in the Climate & Human Rights Working Group provides companies with a forum to expand their understanding of climate and human rights impacts and due diligence practices throughout the value chain. \nThe transition to a low-carbon economy offers an opportunity to recognise that economic\, social\, and environmental sustainability are interrelated and of equal importance – a just transition allows organisations to act on climate and the SDGs – in particular SDG 8\, on Decent Work and Economic Growth – because climate change poses an existential threat to both people and planet.
