Webinar Series

17 June, & 13 July
Our second Black Lives Matter & Business webinar series, supported by HSBC, addresses important new themes over the course of four interactive webinars. The focus of Black Lives Matter & Business webinars in 2021 is the marketplace, covering themes such as ESG investing, products, services, marketing, communications, and the inclusion of Black-owned businesses in corporate supply chains.

29 June, 15:45 – 17:00 BST / 10:45 – 12:00 ET
Focusing on supply chains helps identify where and how the formal business sector intersects with the informal sector. This webinar will therefore consider the connection between primary activities (mainly informal and occurring in bottom tiers) and formal activities further along the chain.

High level panel - London Climate Action Week Webinar

1 July 2021 10:30-12:00 BST
In June 2020, the COP26 High Level Climate Champions launched the ‘Race to Zero’, followed months later by the launch of its sibling campaign, the ‘Race to Resilience’.

The UN Global Compact Network UK is hosting an event during London Climate Action Week that will explore the climate mitigation and resilience agendas, the interlinkages between them, and the importance of both in a corporate climate strategy. Government representatives, experts, and business leaders will discuss their vision of a net zero, climate resilient world, and the actions they are taking to get there.

This event will launch two Climate Action series that the UN Global Compact Network UK is organising in the lead up to COP26: 1. Transitioning to Net Zero and 2. Building Business Climate Resilience. More information can be found here.
