There is increasing pressure from stakeholders to set and achieve ambitious corporate goals that tackle complex sustainability challenges, build business resilience, and enable long-term growth.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the universally agreed blueprint to create the future we want to live and do business in, specifically call on business to leverage their resources, creativity, and innovative capabilities to solve sustainable development challenges.

The United Nations Global Compact is leading Accelerators to embed SDG-aligned practices deep into business operations and across the value chain to accelerate progress and impact for the 2030 Agenda.

Companies participating in the Accelerators will:

  • Learn from thought leadership content, best practices and resources
  • Access a diverse set of global and local engagement opportunities such as awareness-raising campaigns, trainings, mentoring and blended learning
  • Increase employee engagement and professional development opportunities
  • Build a professional network of peers, UN partners and experts
  • Accelerate the integration of the SDGs and Ten Principles into your company’s business strategy and operations
  • Deliver concrete company-specific outcomes
