Governance
The UN Global Compact Network UK is an independent, self-governing entity, working closely with the Global Compact Office in New York. The rules governing this relationship are set out by a Memorandum of Understanding which is renewed annually.
The Global Compact Network UK (GCN UK) is a Company Limited by Guarantee registered in England and Wales (08567552). GCN UK engages The Sustainability Hub, another independent legal entity, to provide the Network Secretariat.
For queries about the governance structure of the UN Global Compact Network UK, please contact secretariat@unglobalcompact.org.uk
GCN UK is governed by a Board of Trustees and Advisory Group, which meet periodically to provide guidance on several aspects of the Network’s work, including its strategic plan and programmatic activities. Both groups are important components of the Network’s governance model. Board members are also part of the Advisory Group.
