Corporate Governance Webinar Series 2025

Strengthening Corporate Governance: Preparing for New UK Corporate Governance Regulations
In today’s increasingly complex and fast-evolving risk environment, companies must navigate a growing array of operational, environmental, and regulatory challenges. Climate change, cyber threats, geopolitical instability, and shifting societal expectations are creating material risks that demand robust, forward-looking governance.
At the same time, the UK’s corporate regulatory landscape is undergoing significant reform. The Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023, the FCA anti-greenwashing rule, and the new UK Corporate Governance Code represent a comprehensive shift in expectations around transparency, accountability, and ESG integration. These developments collectively signal a move beyond procedural compliance toward more strategic, purpose-driven governance.
To help businesses navigate this shift, the UN Global Compact Network UK is hosting a three-part webinar series exploring the transformative journey of corporate governance. The sessions will provide expert insights into identifying, assessing, and integrating ESG risks into internal control and risk management frameworks. We will also examine how boards of directors are shifting from traditional oversight roles to becoming strategic drivers of change in response to increasing regulatory and investor expectations.
