Transitioning to a Circular Economy

This session explored the benefits and roles of key actors in a building’s value chain in implementing the principles of a circular economy. Best practice case studies were highlighted to demonstrate how buildings can be designed, constructed, managed, and maintained to minimise the environmental impact and resource use of a building over its entire life cycle.

This webinar took a deep dive into the challenges that businesses face around reducing the environmental and social impacts of their packaging. It highlighted practical actions that companies can take to eliminate problematic/unnecessary packaging from their business, improve the design of their packaging for recycling and reuse, encourage the adoption of reuse models among consumers, and implement recycling systems to collect end-of-use packaging.
