Transitioning to a Circular Economy

Overview

Enabling more responsible production and consumption via the principles of a circular economy is crucial for addressing various global challenges such as climate change and biodiversity loss. This series built on the UN Global Compact Network UK’s 2022 Climate Action Summit – Delivering a Net Zero Future, which explored how companies can understand their circularity performance and measure impact, design circular products and business models, and mobilise finance for a circular economy.

This 6-part series took a deeper dive into the specific challenges and opportunities related to the transition to a circular economy for key issue areas including: the built environment; critical metals and minerals; electronics; packaging; food & agriculture; and fashion & textiles.
