Participation in Think Labs is by invitation only. Organisations actively contribute to the development of thought leadership content through interactive workshops, consultations, calls, webinars and other activities. POLICY, ADVOCACY CAMPAIGNS
Policy engagement & regulatory advocacy
Lend your voice to influence policies that impact your business. Our Advocacy work and how you can be involved as a member can be found here.
BENCHMARKING & COLLECTIVE VOICE
Data proving sustainability drives performance
Regulatory frameworks and reporting requirements are rapidly evolving, with companies being scoped in to provide information about their environmental impact and sustainability goals. Corporate Sustainability, also widely referred to as Environmental Social and Governance (ESG), is now an integral part of business and has until recently been shaped mainly by industry self-regulation and voluntary reporting. Find how we are working to support members in our Governance programming here.
MONITORING PROGRESS & MEASURING IMPACT
Annual CoP reporting framework & disclosure
The Communication on Progress (CoP) is the main reporting mechanism of the UN Global Compact. It is an annual and mandatory requirement for all business participants of the UN Global Compact. Business benefits of submitting the report:
- Strengthen credibility and brand value
- Measure and demonstrate progress to stakeholders and the public
- Facilitate self-evaluation, set effective targets and continuously improve sustainability performance year over year through gap analysis
- Benchmark progress relative to peer cohorts by taking advantage of one of the largest sources of free, public and comparable corporate sustainability data
